Kyle Jackson Obituary

Kyle Nathaniel Jackson, 30, of Cleveland, Ohio, unexpectedly died on Thursday April 8, 2021 in Cleveland. Kyle was born on October 7, 1990 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Gilbert and Melba (Ratliff) Jackson Sr. Kyle was a 2009 graduate of Portage Northern High School and attended Ursuline College.

Although born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Cleveland was where Kyle called home. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed watching the Cav’s, Browns, and Indians. Kyle was passionate about his family and his friends and brought immense joy to those around him. Kyle was an aspiring chef as he absolutely loved cooking for everyone and could make some delectable dishes. He was employed at various restaurants with his favorite being a hibachi Chef for Benihana’s. He was working towards his goal of starting his own restaurant business to include a food truck.

He is survived by his mother Melba Jackson. Girlfriend, Ravonne Haywood and unborn daughter Eliana Sunni-Ruth Jackson, paternal siblings, Gilda (Floyd) Johnston-Brashers, Sabrina (Michael) Jackson-Todd, Gilbert (Lisa) Jackson Jr, Derek Jackson, Michelle Jackson, Rebekah Jackson, and Gina Jackson; maternal siblings, Greg Crull, Lance (Mallory) McCreary, and Chris (Cassie) McCreary; a special Aunt and Uncle, Norma Jean and Eugene Collins; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Gilbert Jackson Sr.

A visitation will take place on Thursday April 22, 2021 from 4-7pm at the Lucas Memorial Chapel Home, 9010 Garfield Blvd Garfield Heights, OH 44125.

A visitation will take place on Sunday April 25, 2021 from 3-5pm at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 US Hwy 27 N Marshall MI 49068. Funeral services celebrating his life will take place at 1pm On Monday April 26, 2021 at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 US Hwy 27 N Marshall MI 49068.
