(Joe Joe) - a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many - escaped the bounds of Earth on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, winging his way to his heavenly home.
Joe was born on March 22, 1975, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Joe Louis love Sr and Genetha Love . He was the oldest of 4 children. Joe attended Cleveland public schools throughout his life and held an interest in auto mechanics. Joe held various jobs during his life, with his most recent job before becoming ill being working in environmental service in Cleveland Clinic Ashtabula.
Joe devoted his life to serving and helping others . As a child, he was feisty and adventurous . And always asking questions. Growing up, he was good at basketball, and many neighborhood children would ask to play basketball with him in the backyard . Joe taught all of his siblings the game of basketball. Joe was big on sports and loved to watch sports events, always watching the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Cleveland Browns closely. Joe loved his fashion and collected a lot of retro pieces, as in his LeBron's, Jordans, Air Forces, and anything he wore, he made it look good. Joe looked fresh when he stepped out , and he loved his fur coat collection. He was looked up to by many and was a protector of all . Joe was loved by everyone. He was a gentle giant who would give you the shirt off his back. If you needed him for anything, he would be there . He was always smiling and loved life . Joe was a true friend to, and he was well loved . His heart was big and full of joy. He enjoyed listening to 70s and R&B music . Joe became ill in late 2019 and fought against cancer until the end . He never complained or cried . And Joe would tell peers not to cry about his situation. A good fight , even in the end, he was concerned about his family and the well-being of others. Joe was a believer and was at peace knowing he was in the hands of god . Joe is survived by his mother , Genetha Love, father Joe Louis Love Sr.(deceased), sister LaTricia Love , brother Tarrell Love , and Jerron (Ashley) Love . Nieces , Toriann Love , Emily Raimey , and Cierra Love , nephews , Braylon Padgette, and Gage Twarogski , great-niece , Na’Lani Love . A host of aunts , uncles , cousins, and cherished friends.
