Shirley Ann Douglas was born July 31, 1939 in Jackson, Michigan, to the late Earnest Clinton and Molly Ann Paschall. She was the first of five children born to this union. Her husband of 52 years, her parents, her son and sister: Morris Jr., Earnest, Molly, Mark and Carolyn preceded her in death. Shirley made a decision to give her life to Christ in the 80’s. She joined Pentecostal Church of Christ in Cleveland, Ohio, under the leadership of the late Bishop Charles Watkins. Shirley worked for Mr. Coffee Company until she retired. Shirley was known for her love, affection and dedication to her family. In retrospect it was easily identifiable that they meant everything to her. One of her favorite past times was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and watching game shows and last but not least she enjoyed going to the casino. After being blessed to live such a wonderful life, she was called home to be with the Lord the morning of December 1, 2019. She slept peacefully away with her sons: Kevin and Terry by her side in Cleveland, Ohio. As her life here on earth came to an end a new more glorious life with Christ has just begun! Shirley will be remembered as a woman with such grace, poise and beauty inside and out. She had a huge giving heart, she had a loving spirit, as well as selfless protective nature. She possessed the ability to bring comfort to any situation and was always there for anyone who needed her. The gift of love was her nature as was her infectious smile. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her loving children: Marcy Ann White (Kevin), Mark Anthony Douglas (deceased), Kevin Edward Douglas, Terrance DeShon Douglas (Cynthia), her adorable grandchildren: Darius Jacob White, Derek Morris White (Cheri), Mark Anthony Douglas Jr., DeShona Lanay Douglas, Amber A. Douglas, Kelvin Edward Douglas, Paris Jones, Robert Nicholas Houston, Ricky Jobe, Deona C. White, Kayla Douglas, precious loving great grandchildren: Cameron Douglas, Kennedy Douglas, Kadence L. White, Chloe’ N. White, Destinque Harris, Domonique Harris, Dayla Harris, brothers and sisters: Rashed Ali (Dorothy), Carolyn Jean Paschall (deceased), Gloria Heath (Mike), Linda Williams and Shirley Baker. She also leaves to mourn a host of family and friends who love her, we all will miss her dearly and will forever treasure her memory. We all truly loved Shirley Ann Douglas, Mommy, Grandma, Granny, Shirley, butt we know that God loved her best.
